What is Comprehensive genomic profiling

Comprehensive Genomic Profiling (CGP) using PGDx elio™ tissue complete is a next-generation sequencing (NGS)-based assay that analyzes formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tumor tissue to identify a wide range of genomic alterations across 505+ cancer-associated genes. It is FDA-cleared and designed for use in CILIA-certified laboratories to guide precision oncology decisions.

WHY IT MATTERS FOR GLIOBLASTOMA PATIENTS

This test provides a comprehensive molecular portrait of the tumor, including:

  • Single nucleotide variants (SNVs)
  • Insertions and deletions (indels)
  • Copy number alterations amplifications or deletions)
  • Gene rearrangements (fusions)
  • Tumor mutation burden (TMB)
  • Microsatellite instability (MSI) status

This test yields a clinically-annotated report with relevant actionable alterations based on current evidence, including potential FDA-approved therapies, clinical trials, and prognostic  biomarkers.
