How to order a Gliolab Genomic test

TEST ORDERING PROCESS
Gliolab accepts tumor samples in FFPE blocks, unstained slides, or scrolls. For all tumor samples sent to Gliolab for testing, please follow the instructions below:
  1. If you are a physician, please place a test order online by logging in or signing-up for a Gliolab account. Orders can also be submitted via email or fax using our Test Requisition Form (see instructions above).
  2. Some pathology labs require patient consent prior to releasing a specimen for testing, so providing us with a completed Specimen Release Consent Form up front can help avoid potential order delays. Please find all forms and additional instructions for sending above.
  3. Gliolab will contact the pathologist if requested during the ordering process with instructions for sample procurement and shipment.
  4. You will receive online or printed results within 2-3 weeks or less from receipt of specimen by Gliolab.

    ANSWERS TO COMMON QUESTIONS

How do I obtain the results of a Gliolab test?

If you created a LabLink User ID, you can obtain test results by logging in to LabLink when you receive an email informing you that your results have been uploaded.

If you emailed your Test Requisition Form to us, we will send you an email informing you that your results are available.

Whole-Genome DNA Methylation Profiling must be ordered by a physician or other authorized healthcare provider through Gliolab’s secure LabLink provider portal.

New providers first request a LabLink User ID and provide their contact information, institution or facility, and ordering physician NPI. After the account is approved, the provider receives an email with instructions for establishing a password and accessing LabLink.

Once logged in, the provider can access Resource Materials, download and complete the Test Requisition Form (TRF), and provide the required information.

Gliolab currently accepts patient samples from all U.S. states except California, Maryland, New York, and Pennsylvania.

These four states have additional laboratory licensing requirements. Gliolab is currently pursuing licensure in these states and plans to make testing available once the required licenses are obtained.

Currently, Gliolab only accepts tumor samples a pathologist has found to be Glioblastoma, but in the future we will accept all brain cancer tumor samples.
